Spring 2026 Update v1.8.0

Welcome To The Eighth Update To 80s Overrun! This is a bit of a smaller update to fix some bugs and issues but still includes some new items for the coming months.

February Events Line up

There Will be a mix of both Festivals and Challenges for this month. For Festivals there will be a Valentines Festival where you can unlock the new Teddy Skin and there will be a Challenge for the Sweetheart Skin and the Heart Wings. There Will also be a Lunar New Year Festival where you can get the Red Lunar Dragon, Lunar Lady, and Inferno Skin and wings. There will also be a Martial Arts Challenge where you climb the ladder each earning a new belt up until you unlock the new Sprinter Skin!

Pet Rebalancing

As usual we did some more rebalancing to make pets more balanced. The Following Changes Have Been Made:

-Baby Ghost and all evolution forms has had its slow glide ability slightly reduced (Nerf)

-Snowball and Snowman has had it chance to double all collectible items slightly increased (Buff)

-Imp and all evolution forms have have had their buffing period from traps increased from 5 to 7 seconds and now provides slight immunity to fire based traps (Buff)

-Shelly and all evolution forms has had its damage immunity from traps significantly reduced (Nerf)

-Bulb Pet and all evolution forms has had its buffs slightly reduced and its buff duration reduced from 25 to 20 seconds (Nerf)

-Baby Phoenix has had the chances to double the Sunset Tokens collected increased (Buff)

-Valentine and all evolution forms has had a slight increase in chances to instantly respawn player (Buff)

Other Changes

– By popular demand you can now “race” the boss in The Main Los Miameles Story Boss Levels. boss levels rather than it being a timed challenge where you beat the bosses time.

-New Loading Screen Messages and fixed the grammar with some of the loading screen messages

Bug Fixes

– Fresco Plaza Levels not saving progress

– Some Synthwave Levels In Challenges get player stuck in the loading screen this should now be fixed
